This is a beautifully illustrated picture book biography of a pioneering female lighthouse keeper. The text is informative, though I would have liked it if the author's note at the end explained a bit more for readers, but the real strength here is the artwork, which is lovely. A good choice for people looking for biographies for children featuring women in history working in male-dominated fields.
