Avery Dennis is the pretty and popular blonde at her high school and is notorious for always having a boyfriend. When she got dumped right before prom, Avery decided to go and interview all her past boyfriends to see why her relationships never seemed to work out. Alongside her best friend Coco and her lab partner named Hutch, they go and discover the true meaning of love and whether or not Avery is destined to find it. This sweet novel was a pleasant surprise filled with sweet romance and a bit of self-discovery. Avery starts off being this stereotypical popular girl but as you read on, you get to see her personality, her character, and her quirky flaws. She ends up being really likable and will get readers to root for her. The format was not what I’m used to, and not what I prefer. It was hard for me to get into it at first, but reading to the end was worth it. This is a true diamond in the rough with a very unique plot. Rating:5/5
