"The author of Still Missing targets her readership with a novel that hits all the notes they come to expect from her--and ratchets up the stakes even more. Lindsey Nash has left an abusive relationship and her ex-husband was sent to jail. She has started over with a new life, her own business, and a teenage daughter who needs her more than ever. When her husband is finally released, Lindsey believes she has cut all ties. There is no way he can ever find her and her daughter again. But she gets the sense that someone is watching her, tracking her every move. Her new boyfriend is threatened. Her home is invaded. Even her daughter is shadowed. Lindsey is convinced it's her ex-husband, even though he claims he is a different person and doesn't want to do her any harm. But can he really change? Is the one who wants her dead even closer to home than she thought?"--

Good read containing enough action. Halfway thru the book I was getting a little tired of the abusive husband/father antics but then Lindsay's boyfriends, Greg and Marcus came into the story along with her daughter's boyfriend and it turned into a who done it mystery.

I was really in to this book. A page turner. Chevy Stevens is one of my newly discovered favourite authors. I want to read anything she writes. There were some great twists in this book. You can't go wrong. Read it!

4.5 stars. A page-turner of a book that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it. I loved the setting and the ominous tone of the writing. I kept changing my mind about whodunnit until right before the final denouement. I would have to say that this is now my favourite title by Stevens. Amazing!

I love reading her books and finding them set on Vancouver Island and the Okanagan, places I know. I can't wait for her next book.

This is the first novel I've read by this author, and it was pretty good. I could have done without the annoying teenage daughter and the silly idea that an abuser may have miraculously changed, but these were key to moving the story forward, so I'll forgive. Scary, as are all stories of controlling men, interesting twists, and an end I didn't see coming. Overall, I quite enjoyed it.

I feel a bit bad rating this book so low but I found it boring (compared to some of the author's other novels). It felt a bit like a diary and was only exciting at the very end. 'That Night' is my favourite book so far.
