LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! The illustrations are gorgeous and so detailed. The information is well presented and I learned many interesting things about honeybees. I think this book would appeal to all ages. Very lovely.

The size of the book and realistic, full-page illustrations are usually only found in early reader picture books; the simple sentence structure, large print and reserved amount of print also make this an attractive, easily understood book for 4 year olds. But this story is LOADED with details of the chronological development and life of a bee in such a way that it is fascinating and suitable for older primary students wanting to understand these wonderous creatures. I think this is a MUST addition to every school library or classroom that wants to encourage students to access books for increasing knowledge, and a great addition to home libraries.
