Here's my comment for seasons 1, 2 and 3: What am I doing watching this silly TV show?? Well, sometimes there is just nothing good available and I need something to take my mind off all of the things going on in the world and in my little life. This was not a show I watched when it came out in the mid 1970s. But I think my daughter watched it. It seems like it had some difficulty figuring out its identity. Some of the episodes are way too sappy; others get into sexual territory that seems it would have lost much of it's younger audience; and some of it is totally disrespectful to women. But ... the majority of the episodes are funny and silly and actually often made me laugh out loud. The best is when it's along the lines of slapstick and not-very-likely-to-ever-really-happen events. The characters of Lenny and Squiggy have an interesting history - how they started out and also how these two actors (Michael McKean and David Lander) went on to accomplish so much in their careers. Good Clean Fun! (mostly)
