I've always thought Amy is someone I'd love to know in real life, and this memoir only further convinced me of that. Pros (a lot): funny, sweet, emotionally touching, insightful, lots of great "behind the scenes" details about her work, very honest, profound. Also, Amy is a great reader, and she has some other fun reading guests, like Patrick Stuart! Cons (just a few): it wasn't as funny as I thought it might be, but that's really only kind of a con because it has a lot of other qualities I didn't quite expect, like profound insights on life, love, and work. Overall, I expected an easy listening title that would make me laugh and take my mind off of traffic. This definitely is that, but it's also a beautiful and profound confessional with a lot to say about important things like work/life balance, friendship, womanhood, motherhood, careers, and how robots will eventually kill us all :)
