Whenever I think of Nicki Minaj, I think of an inspiring woman that pushes boundaries. Her phenomenal album, “The Pinkprint” broke records worldwide. The album went double platinum in the USA and won many awards including the American’s Music Awards Favourite Rap/Hip-hop album in 2015. This album includes 16 tracks including the hits “Only”, “Anaconda” and “Grand Piano”. In the song “Only”, Nicki Minaj raps over a cool, slow beat with confidence while addressing rumours. In “Grand Piano”, Nicki Minaj shows off her vocal talent that not many knew she had prior. She stuns her audience while hitting high notes. On the other tracks of the album, she has other singers featuring on her songs including Ariana Grande, Drake and the legendary Beyonce. This album is recommended to older teenage girls. Nicki Minaj’s “The Pinkprint” is an amazing album and will be remembered for decades to come. 5/5 stars @grxcerose of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board The Pinkprint was tremendously expressive. The Pinkprint is the third album by the famous rapper and singer, Nicki Minaj. I completely enjoyed every single song on this CD. Out of Pink Friday, Roman Reloaded/Roman Reloaded the Re-Up, the Pinkprint was by far my favourite. Not only were songs enthusiastic and fun, but there were songs on this album that were significantly personal to Nicki Minaj, herself. In songs like "All Things Go" and "The Crying Game", the Trinidadian rapper explained her life experiences with death, love, and so much more. "All things Go" touched up on how one of her family members was killed, for no reason at all, in Southside Jamaica Queens. Nicki Minaj had several collaborations with musicians such as: Meek Mill, Drake, Lil Wayne, Jeremih, and many more. Songs like "Trini Dem Girls", and "Buy a Heart" were very catchy, as well as upbeat. I love albums produced by artists that are able to express their feelings in both slow, and energetic forms of music. I give this CD a solid 5/5.  @Montgomery of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
