The tenth in the Charles Lenox series. A comfortable read, as always. Lenox is getting a little older, but is mentally as acute as always and has his well established cast of characters and cozy routines around him. In this book his chum of 30 years ago seeks his help after arriving in London to settle an unexpected bequest and then being set upon twice by thugs who seem to want to murder him. This mystery is settled about two thirds of the way through and I was left wondering what was going to happen in the remainder of the book. But, twists and turns await.
