Greater Bonne Femme Watershed Initiative: A CommunityMade List

The inaugural Creek Week, hosted by the Greater Bonne Femme Watershed Initiative, will take place June 9 to 14, offering a full week of educational, recreational, and volunteer events that highlight the importance of protecting our local water resources. The Greater Bonne Femme Watershed Initiative aims to restore and protect water resources within the Greater Bonne Femme Watershed for future generations. The Greater Bonne Femme Watershed encompasses an area from South Columbia to North Ashland to the Missouri River. The watershed is home to many notable features, including Rock Bridge Memorial State Park, Three Creeks Conservation Area, streams, and caves. Boone County's Stormwater Management Department leads the project in collaboration with partners, including local government, state and federal agencies, nongovernmental organizations, and local landowner partners. CommunityMade Lists are book lists created by local organizations in Boone and Callaway Counties!
